Hey guys, it’s Travis at gaspumpheaven.com. Well, I’m out here in the shop today and I’m actually working on my old 39 Ford pickup. And before I left the warehouse on Friday, I knew that I’d be grabbing the grill off of the wall so it’s actually going to become part of a truck as opposed to something hanging on the wall.
So before I left, I grabbed a sign and I thought I’d do a quick video just showing you guys some of the signs that we have for sale. This is a Phillips 66 sign and it’s actually at its widest point. These are 30 inches from point to point. So it’s a really good, high quality, well put together sign and it’s got good size.
The other thing I’m going to show you, I want to show you how thick this is. Now this weighs about two or three pounds and to give you an idea of the gauge of steel, here’s a dime and it’s actually a little bit thicker than a dime. If you can see that. Let me see if a penny will work better here. Here’s a penny. It’s the same thickness as a penny. So these things are really good, high quality signs and they have these in, they did one like this in a Route 66, which is really cool. We have some round ones for like Pure, Mobile. You can hop on our website and check them out. They’re all online.
But I’m going to hang this real quick and just show you a couple of quick tricks to hanging these and making sure they’re level. The only thing you need to hang this is a level and a couple of screws. Now I’m going into wood, but if you’re going into drywall and you can’t hit a stud, you’re probably going to want to get those wall dogs or drywall dogs or whatever they call them that you screw into the wall that can help you hang a couple of pounds because these weigh at least two pounds.
So the first thing you do, just grab your sign, figure out about where it’s going to hang, where you want it to hang when you’re done. Then grab your screw and go ahead and put it in. And don’t worry about it being level or not because we’re only putting one screw in first. Now that you’ve got the first screw in, grab your level, sit it on the screw and line it up with that hole and that way you can determine what is going to be level. That looks about right, right there. That’s it, pretty easy.
Now remember, if you want to check out any of these signs, you can do it on our website at gaspumpheaven.com. While you’re there, you can check out ad glass, sconces, stuff like this.
